I strongly believe food and fashion go hand in hand and I'm excited to present you my first very post on cooking. Seriously, I don't know anyone who doesn't love food except my hubby. FYI, my husband is probably one of the most pickiest eater I've met. Besides Chinese food, he doesn't eat anything else. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but there are a lot of food he won't eat. I'm talking about normal food such as sushi rolls, pasta, kimchi, hot wings, salads, thin crust pizzas, burritos, tacos, donuts, cupcakes and many more. See what I mean. Oops, off topic. Sorry! Okay, I followed this recipe since I'm a huge fan of Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa). So far everything I made from her were amazing!
This recipe is delicious and very easy to follow. I did tweak it bit, instead of using frozen onions I used fresh ones. I didn't use the cognac because I didn't have any on hand and I didn't want to burn my kitchen.:) My other adjustment was using only half the bottle of red wine. Since my kids need to eat this, I didn't want to put in the whole bottle, drank the remainder instead. Lol. Also, she suggested serving it with sour dough bread, but I think any french bread is fine. Happy cooking!
Do you know any picky eaters? Do you love beef bourguignon?
